CSDS Workshop Event

June 15th at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church

We are thrilled to have renowned dance champion, coach, choreographer, and head judge Dawn Garrish as our guest instructor. Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 15th.

more about Dawn
Dawn Blorstad Garrish is a prominent teacher of both country and west coast swing dance in the Maryland/DC area. She has been teaching and competing in the dance community for over 35 years. Her accomplishments include 2 two UCWDC World Titles, 6 US Open Swing Titles, over 50 Top Teacher Awards and induction into the UCWDC Hall of Fame. Dawn is a legend of the dance world and continues to influence dancers of all levels seeking to refine their skills.

Most people have seen Dawn on the dance floor as a judge or chief judge at WCS events across the country. But Dawn still loves to teach. She has a knack for making it fun and easy to pick up the more difficult moves. What may look hard she makes it look easy!! We are fortunate to have her living close enough to come to Charlottesville!
